Jessie J tells fans: 'Don't live your lives online'

'Nobody's Perfect' hitmaker Jessie J has told her 6.3 million Twitter followers to make sure they get offline and out into the real world.

Earlier this afternoon (January 29), the vocal sensation explained that she's often saddened by messages sent to her from lonely fans asking for help and said that the problem stems from kids spending too much time on the internet away from real social interaction:

"I have always been honest with my fans. And a few of you tweet me constantly everyday saying "Jessie help me I have no friends", and my response is blunt and honest because I genuinely care."

"But being on twitter constantly everyday isn't going to let you grow as a person.. Nor is it going to improve social skills to make friends face to face with people..."

She returned to the social networking site and added that she's sorry if her opinion offends anyone, but it's crucial to build a life in the real world as opposed to worrying about how many followers you have in a virtual reality:

"I know I can't win. And I can't make everyone happy but I will always be honest even if some don't agree. Live your life in real life. Not online. Its not a fact its just my opinion. That's all x."
