Vocal powerhouse Jessie J has confirmed that she making great progress with recording her brand new forthcoming album.

Writing on her official Twitter page this afternoon (February 1), she explained to her 6.3 million followers that she's working on new songs with writer Claude Kelly and has been laying down vocal tracks at an impressive rate:

"Just vocalled the 4th song for the album with @ClaudeKelly in 2 days! Yes yes yes!! Warm ups galooorrre! Tea and saaanging!! ♥"

Songwriter Kelly also shared a studio update in the form of a photograph, which he uploaded to his Instagram account (shown below) and he accompanied it with the caption: "nside look: @jessiej + @claudekelly + @exit1200 = big tingz. #album2"

Meanwhile, the 'Price Tag' songstress is preparing to shave her head live on television in order to raise money for Comic Relief.
