Jessie J has dismissed speculation that she has been acting like a 'diva' on The Voice UK.

Numerous reports have emerged recently that suggested the singer had been throwing tantrums whilst on the set of the reality show, which has just aired the start of its second series.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 'Domino' star said that the diva tag comes with the territory of being a female on TV - but it's something that isn't applicable to her own personality. She said:

"I don't think there has been any TV show where a woman hasn't had a diva stamp. I don't want anyone to think that's what I am because I'm not. I'm the total opposite."

Jessie J added: "I have eight people in my team, not 50. You can't win. I realise that happens to women. But do I want to turn on TV and see someone else in my chair? No! That's the only diva in me."

The next episode of The Voice UK is due to air on Saturday (April 6).
