Jessie J: 'My new album will be out before Christmas and it's really eclectic'

'Do It Like A Dude' songstress Jessie J has revealed that her forthcoming new album will have a mix of different genres, despite the lead single 'Wild' being more urban.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, the beauty described the cut as "eclectic" and confessed that she can't wait to share it with the world: "The next single is straight-up pop and everything on the album is completely different. 'Wild' was the one that grabbed people's attention, but the album is really eclectic actually - probably more so than the first one."

"It will be out before Christmas. I'm not going to give a date, but all will be revealed very soon. We're just sorting out some features, production, final vocals and some mixes and masters. The body of work is pretty much there and I'm just doing the album thank you's now."

Back in February, Jessie J shared an 'emotional' photograph of herself in the studio and admitted that she was recording an incredibly personal song at the time:

"There's a song on the album about a family member that's very close to me who has suffered from an illness and it's kind of changed them. So I wrote a song about someone being in your life, but being themselves even though they are still there. It's a very personal and honest song."
