Jessie J has given fans a taste of her new track 'Hero'.

As previously reported, the British singer recently confirmed that she wrote the song for the soundtrack to upcoming film Kick-Ass 2.

On Wednesday night (July 17), Jessie J revealed a Soundcloud link to a preview of the track, saying:

"I wrote the soundtrack song for #kickass2 #themovie here it a little taste!"

It's the second slice of new music released by Jessie J this year, following on from her latest single 'Wild'.

The former Voice UK coach meanwhile is expected to release her second album later this year.

Kick-Ass 2 meanwhile is due to hit cinema screens in the UK from August 16.
