JLS hope to release new album this year

JLS are set to unleash a new album later this year, according to Marvin Humes.

The singer told the Daily Star that studio time is scheduled and that they're hoping to have the record out before their December UK tour.

The singer said: "We're booked in to go to LA and work with Rodney Jerkins again and are looking at some new people too. We'll pool all our energy into new material and [we] already have great stuff."

Humes added that they will play some of the new tracks on their tour, revealing:

"We'll do a lot of songs from the previous four albums and new songs from the fifth so the show will have to be longer. They're usually about 90 minutes but we'll have to make it closer to two hours. We're not shy about putting on a good show for people and already have got ideas about how we're going to make it unique."

The last JLS album, 'Evolution', was released in November 2012.
