JLS star Marvin Humes bags weekly Capital FM radio show

JLS singer Marvin Humes has landed himself a weekly radio show.

The 'Evolution' star has been secretly training as a DJ for two months and will host his own show on Capital FM on Friday nights.

The slot will take place over three hours between 7pm and 10pm, with Humes revealing that the news is the "icing on the cake". He said:

"It's an absolute honour to become part of the Capital family. The JLS boys and I have always had a close relationship with the team and it only felt right to grab this opportunity with both hands."

He continued: "My DJ-ing is going incredibly well and having my own Friday night show on the UK's number one hit music station is the icing on the cake!"

Global Radio Group Executive Director & Director of Broadcasting Richard Park added: "JLS are one of the UK's biggest groups so it's a great fit for Capital. Each week he'll be playing the hottest hit music, remixes and latest upfront club songs to provide the most pumping start to the weekends."

Humes is said to be opening his radio career with a special Capital FM show tonight (March 28) and then tomorrow (March 29) between 7-10pm.
