Oritsé Williams cries about JLS split during TV interview

JLS star Oritsé Williams broke down in tears as JLS spoke about their recent split announcement during a TV interview.

As previously reported, the boyband confirmed that they would break up at the end of the year following a tour and a greatest hits album.

The group filmed an interview with Alan Carr's Chatty Man TV show recently and they discussed their reasons for ending JLS.

Marvin Humes said that they were coming to the end of their Sony contract and decided to move on to pastures new. However, Williams started crying, with Humes comforting the singer and saying:

"It's Oritsé's baby, he got us together."

Williams then composed himself and said: "The emotions are high. It was only because I saw the fans outside as we were coming in to see you and seeing them upset really brought that emotion in me. But it is a celebration. At the end of the day we have had an amazing six years together. We have been on a journey that no one else may have seen, the hard times as well as the good times. But we are the luckiest four boys in the world."

The interview will be shown on Channel 4 at 10pm on Friday (April 26).
