Jedward hope to allay terrorism fears with airport tour

Jedward hope their upcoming World Peace airport tour will calm fears over global terrorism.

The duo are due to appear at a number of airports in Europe in early January.

They told the Irish Sun that they will not be performing.

Instead, Jedward will be meeting fans, who are invited to take selfies with them.

The former X Factor stars hope to show their fans that any concerns over terrorism are misplaced.

They said: "We're not performing but instead we plan on defying the current fears about terrorism by reassuring our fans that everything will be okay."

Jedward added: "It's not about money. It's about making a connection with cool people."

The tour is due to kick off in Brussels on January 6, with stops scheduled in airports in cities such as Glasgow, London, Riga and Dublin.

The jaunt will end in Madrid on January 12.
