Jonas Brothers say new single is "something people can dance to"

The Jonas Brothers have teased details about their forthcoming new single.

Earlier this year, the trio revealed that brand new material was on the horizon and back in August they confirmed that in October they would reform for a special concert in New York City along with start to prepare new music for their fans.

Speaking to MTV News, Nick Jonas explained that the group as very close to selecting which track will be their next single: "The album is coming along and that we're days, if not hours away from choosing a single so it's very exciting. We've got a good team around us and we're excited to get the music out there for our fans."

Joe Jonas added that they hope to unveil the song around the same time as their Manhattan show takes place: "Yeah, we want to do it really quickly. Luckily, we're in a position where we get to decide if we wanted to do it tonight, but I think we're kind of lining it up to our show we have at Radio City coming up very soon, so it should be around that time."

When asked what the cut sounds like, Nick hinted that it's dance-infused and brings about "a certain atmosphere":

"It's a little bit of a, especially for us to describe it, it's something that people can dance to that also puts them in a place, brings them to a certain atmosphere, gives them a vibe about the seasons that we've been through these last three years in sort of doing our own thing."
