Justin Bieber compares himself to Michael Jackson

Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber has made his first post since being arrested yesterday (January 23) and has put himself alongside the late King of Pop in a new Instagram upload.

The 19-year-old superstar was arrested in Miami last night for driving without a licence and DUI, but has since posted bail of $2,500 (£1,500) following a brief court appearance, from which he emerged waving to fans from a vehicle.

He has now shared the aforementioned photograph of himself, but placed it next to one of Michael Jackson also waving from a car to his followers after pleading not guilty to child molestation charges back in 2004.

Bieber captioned the photo, which has now had over 510,000 likes, with the phrase, "what more can they say". His manager, Scooter Braun, took to his official Twitter page earlier today (January 24) and expressed his unconditional support for Bieber, writing:

"Been a long day. Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts. Love fully in good times and bad... Calling it a night."
