Justin Bieber waxwork removed because too many fans touched model

A waxwork model of Justin Bieber has been removed from a Madame Tussauds because fans have been wearing it down too much.

A lifelike figure of the the Canadian singer features at Tussauds' New York HQ, but it seems over-eager fans have caused it to fall apart.

The fact that the model sports Bieber's old hair and style meanwhile is said to have also contributed to the waxwork's removal.

Madame Tussauds general manager Bret Pidgeon said: "This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new grown-up Justin back to the attraction in the near future."

In Britain meanwhile, a staff member was employed last year to act as a "tissue attendant" because too many fans were crying after seeing One Direction waxworks.
