A woman is facing trespassing charges after she was found sleeping in Justin Bieber's home.

23-year-old Qianying Zhao was caught napping in a house rented by the 20-year-old singer in Atlanta.

The lady told police that she was in the building to attend Bieber's birthday party and found entry to the home - owned by producer Dallas Austin - through an unlocked door.

Zhao added that she was a friend of Bieber's - however, his birthday bash was held on a different date at a different location and the house was unoccupied at her time of entry.

Police have confirmed that the 23-year-old faces a charge of criminal trespass.

Bieber had been rumoured to be considering a move to Atlanta after allegedly falling out with neighbours in Los Angeles.
