Justin Bieber claims he is currently working on the best music he's ever made.

The singer seems to be holed up in recording studios at the moment as he takes a step away from the limelight.

The Canadian was arrested in Miami in February and will face trial on charges of DUI, driving without a valid licence and resisting arrest on May 5.

However, it seems his time in the studio has been productive, with Bieber tweeting:

"I got some big things planned. Making the best music I have ever made."

The 20-year-old has been in the studio with teen singer Madison Beer (pictured above left), who tweeted last night (April 9):

"So grateful I get to work with one of the most creative geniuses in the world @justinbieber ... Learning a lot from you :)."

Beer signed to Island Def Jam and secured a management deal with Scooter Braun after Bieber tweeted a link to one of her YouTube videos in 2012.
