Canadian sensation Justin Bieber has posted a public message to his official Twitter page, which was shared with his father Jeremy, that shows just how close his relationship with his dad is.

Writing on the social media site this afternoon (April 19), the 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrob thanked his father for being such a source of inspiration and support: "I love you pops @jeremybieber. You’re a great father and my best friend."

Earlier this week, meanwhile, Bieber told his fans that they can expect a huge announcement from him new as he teased the promise of "big news" in the near future. Prior to this admission, the superstar had explained to his 51 million followers that the news will be unexpected: "No one knows what Im planning ;)"

The young hitmaker is currently working on new material in the recording studio and recently suggested that he's at the peak of his ability: "I got some big things planned. Making the best music I have ever made."
