Justin Bieber says industry is 'oversaturated' by people who keep 'dropping singles'

Justin Bieber believes the music industry is negatively affected by people continuously releasing music.

The singer has spent much of the year out of the limelight after being arrested for DUI in January.

Speaking in a new interview with Hustle TV, the Canadian said that he is trying not to overexpose himself by keeping quiet.

Bieber added that this should mean his eventual return to music will be all the more spectacular.

The 20-year-old said: "People who oversaturate the music industry and keep putting out singles and keep dropping music, it just makes yourself less important when you drop music. You want to have an actual break.

"I wanted to have a moment where people didn’t see me for awhile and then I could come back stronger. And also I'm growing up. There's a lot of things that I'm going through and I'm finding myself as a man, so it's going to be a great next chapter for me."

Bieber, who sported a bleached blonde hairdo during the interview, was appearing at the opening of car modifiers West Coast Customs' Burbank headquarters in California.
