Justin Bieber admits past 'disappointments'

Justin Bieber says he is often disappointed with his past behaviour.

Some of the singer's antics over the last few years have been criticised for being immature and arrogant.

He was arrested for DUI in January 2014 and this seemingly sparked an epiphany for the 21-year-old.

The Canadian was the subject of Comedy Central's latest Roast on Monday (March 30) as celebrities poked fun at him.

However, the reformed character took time out to make a serious speech about his past wrongdoings.

Bieber said: "I turned a lot of people off over the past few years but I know I can still turn out good music and turn everything all around,' he said, turning serious after a series of jokes that had the pros clearly impressed.

"You have my word I will not end up broken, pathetic, bitter, or sitting on the dais of somebody else's roast. But let's get serious for a second. There was really no preparing me for this life - I was thrown into this at 12-years-old and I didn't really know what I was getting myself into.

"There's been moments I'm really proud of - and moments I look back at and I'm pretty disappointed at myself for.

'But the things that I have done really don't define who I am. I'm a kind-hearted person who loves people and through it all I lost some of my best qualities. For that, I'm sorry."
