Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean' heading for third week at No.1

Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber could be on track for a No.1 hat trick this week, as 'What Do You Mean' tops today’s Official Singles Chart Update (September 21).

The track first hit No.1 three weeks ago and was knocked off by Sigala’s 'Easy Love', which is at No.2 today, before returning to the summit for a second non-consecutive week on Friday. Calvin Harris & Disciples' 'How Deep Is Your Love' holds firm at No.3 this afternoon, followed by R. City’s 'Locked Away' feat. Adam Levine (No.4) which is heading for a new Official Chart peak.

Ellie Goulding is on course to score this week’s highest new entry with 'On My Mind' at No.5, the first single to be lifted from the singer-songwriter’s upcoming third studio album 'Delirium'.

Producer Naughty Boy is on track for a sixth Top 40 with new Beyoncé and Arrow Benjamin collaboration 'Runnin’ (Lose It All)' (No.10), while Taylor Swift’s Wildest Dreams is set to make its Top 40 debut on Friday, starting at No.37.

Mark Ronson’s 'Uptown Funk' feat. Bruno Mars climbs five places to re-enter the Official Singles Chart Update at 38. Elsewhere, Drake’s Hotline Bling (20) is heading for a new Official Chart peak following Disclosure and Sam Smith’s recent cover of the track in Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
