Justin Bieber has worked with Ed Sheeran on new album

Justin Bieber says his new record features a cameo from Ed Sheeran.

The singer is due to release his latest effort 'Purpose' on November 13.

Speaking to Capital FM at the premiere of Sheeran's Jumpers For Goalposts film in London this week, the Canadian confirmed that the musician is set to feature on the collection.

The 21-year-old said: "I think Ed is super talented, one of the most talented writers and guitar players we have right now, so to come here was nothing, I love supporting him.

"We’ve known each other for some years now and he’s just overall just a great guy and we actually collaborated on my album.

"It’s just acoustic, nothing else, just acoustic guitar. I think that that’s what he does best and that’s my roots, I started out just playing guitar and singing and doing covers on YouTube. So it was an easy collab.”

The singer released his new single 'Sorry' today (October 23).

Bieber will go head-to-head with One Direction in the album charts on November 13.

The boyband are due to release their fifth album 'Made in the A.M.' on the same day.
