Justin Bieber admits nude photos weren't as bad as expected

Justin Bieber says his recent nude picture expose wasn't as "terrible" as he was expecting.

The singer was caught by the paparazzi walking around naked while on holiday in French Polynesia, with the pictures published by the New York Daily News.

However, the 21-year-old to Ellen DeGeneres in a new interview that it wasn't quite as bad as he thought it would be.

Revealing that he found out about them a couple of days after publication, Bieber said:

"Scooter [Braun, manager] he was like ‘yo I hate to tell you this, but your penis is on the Internet'.

"I was like, ‘What?’ The first thing I saw that the censored one and it had like the black thing over it.

"And I was like oh my goodness like I don’t know what this is gonna look like, and then it wasn’t like as bad as I thought it was gonna be. It wasn’t as terrible."

Bieber's dad Jeremy meanwhile courted controversy on Twitter after the publication by joking he was "proud" about his son's penis size.

The singer will release his new album 'Purpose' on Friday (November 13).
