Justin Bieber continues record breaking on Official Singles Chart

Canadian sensation Justin Bieber’s record-breaking streak continues this week as the singer once again enters the Official Chart history books.

The star dominates the Top 2 spots on this week’s tally, at No.1 with Sorry and 2 with 'Love Yourself', the first time any act has achieved this feat in 30 years. Madonna was the last act to occupy the top two positions simultaneously on the Official Singles Chart back in 1985 with 'Into The Groove' (1) and 'Holiday' (2).

Meanwhile, Adele’s 'Hello' slips one place to No.3, Bieber’s 'What Do You Mean?' is at No.4, and Fleur East’s 'Sax' completes this week’s Top 5. Former The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes scores his biggest solo hit to date with 'Over And Over Again', which is this week’s highest new entry at No.8.

Speaking to OfficialCharts.com, Sykes said: “I’m really happy there’s been such a great reaction to this song. There are some really incredible artists in the charts at the moment - some really massive songs. To be up there with them is absolutely amazing!

Further down the chart, Rudimental and Ed Sheeran’s 'Lay It All On Me' reaches a new peak on the tally, leaping seven places to No.12, as does Olly Murs with 'Kiss Me', up nine places to 13.

Finally Adele’s '25' album track 'When We Were Young' enters at 29 and Years & Years’ 'Eyes Shut' climbs eight places to No.32.
