Justin Bieber to do charity gig in Canada: 'It's my turn to give back'

Canadian sensation Justin Bieber is hosting a special concert for charity on December 7.

The 'Sorry' superstar will put on An Acoustic Evening with Justin Bieber at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto and tickets for the event are set to cost $100 (£62.50), with proceeds going to the House of Blessing in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

House of Blessing executive director Theresa McMurray issued a statement on Bieber's concert, which reads:

"I think he realises how much his mother was helped. People struggle in his community and he wants to help out. It happened really quick. It sure makes your day when it does happen. We're thrilled. We love to work with Justin."

House of Blessing helped Bieber's own mother Pattie Mallette following her split from his father Jeremy and the young star shared a link to the event via Twitter, which he accompanied with a touching caption: "Thank you for being there when we needed you :) now it's my turn."
