Justin Bieber's latest album has already gone two times platinum in the UK.

The singer released 'Purpose' on November 13 and it has sold well across the world.

The British Phonographic Industry have today (January 5) confirmed that the record is double platinum in the UK.

This means that it has shifted 600,000 units in the country alone.

The record meanwhile landed at No.5 on the Official Charts Company's list of the top selling records of 2015 in the UK.

It was Adele's '25', however, that claimed the top spot.

Bieber will promote his album on the road in 2016 in regions such as Europe and North America.
