Justin Bieber breaks his own US singles chart record

Justin Bieber has broken a US singles chart record he previously set earlier this year.

The singer's tune 'Love Yourself' has now stayed in the Billboard Hot 100 top ten for 22 weeks since its release.

This has bettered the Canadian's record-breaking 21 weeks previously set by 'Sorry'.

Both tracks feature on Bieber's 2015 album 'Purpose'.

Elsewhere in the latest Billboard chart, Rihanna has also made history.

She is now the artist with the second-highest amount of weeks spent at No.1 on the chart.

The Barbados star usurped The Beatles after her single 'Work' logged its ninth week at the top.
