Justin Bieber has sent his fans wild by refollowing Selena Gomez on Instagram.

The two singers dated for a number of years before calling things off in 2014.

It seems they could be about to rekindle their relationship, however.

Bieber started refollowing his former flame on Instagram recently - the first time he has connected with her on the platform since November 2014.

This sent fans wild, with one Twitter user writing:

"GUYS I KNOW I USUALLY DONT FANGIRL OVER JELENA BUT. . JUSTIN FOLLOWED SELENA ON INSTA."
