Justin Bieber goes triple Platinum in the UK with "Sorry"

This afternoon has seen the latest batch of awards for sales figures confirmed by the British Phonographic Industry. 

The BPI announced that Justin Bieber's catchy single "Sorry" has been certified triple Platinum. The track achieved the incredible feat by shifting over 1,800,000 copies since it was released. Avicii's "Wake Me Up" has also reached triple Platinum certification. 

Rick Astley's latest studio album, entitled "50", has gone Gold (100,000 copies), Christine & the Queens' album "Chaleur Humaine" has managed the same feat, and "Stitches" by Shawn Mendes is now double Platinum in the UK (1,200,000 copies).
