Bieber hits 10 million Twitter followers

Teen sensation Justin Bieber has become the first male Twitter user to exceed 10 million followers.

The 'Eenie Meenie' singer hit the landmark figure yesterday, May 30, and wrote a message to thank his fans for their phenomenal continued support:

"10 Million and growing...and everyday I will make the effort to show appreciation. #neverchanging #ilovemyfans"

This puts him ahead of the President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, who is close behind with just over 8 million followers although Bieber is yet to catch up with Lady Gaga, who is the most followed person on Twitter with a whopping 10.5 million.
