Teen sensation Justin Bieber has become the first artist to pass 2 billion collective views on YouTube. 

The talented young Canadian hitmaker has enjoyed a phenomenal career to date and has now set another milestone for his contemporaries to aim for by becoming the first person to top 2 billion hits on the video hosting site.

Pop superstar Lady Gaga is following closely behind with 1.88 billion views and Rihanna has come in third with 1.7 billion. 

Bieber also holds the title for the most watched video on YouTube with 'Baby', which currently has an incredible 649,520,180 views. The top 10 most viewed artists or groups on YouTube are as follows:
