Justin Bieber says his new album will 'open doors'

Teen sensation Justin Bieber hopes that his forthcoming new album, 'Believe', will give him access to a whole new demographic and that his more mature sound will help to bring in even more fans.

The 18-year-old 'Boyfriend' superstar may already have over 21 million followers on Twitter, but he still wants to capture the hearts of more potential Beliebers worldwide.

Speaking to Forbes magazine, he explained that tailoring his music to match his age is a tough thing to get right and he hopes it'll both expand his fan base as well as keep his existing listeners happy:

"It's not really a transition, it's just opening doors. I'm trying to make music that's a little bit more mature and that can appeal to all ages, and I'm not trying to lose my younger fans."

He was recently named the 3rd most powerful celebrity on the globe by Forbes magazine and spent time doing a photoshoot with GQ that really marked his transition to adulthood.
