Justin Bieber says "everything's changed" since turning 18

Canadian sensation Justin Bieber has admitted that he was overjoyed when his 18th birthday finally arrived because it meant he had more control over his personal fortune.

The teen superstar used to rely on a strict allowance, which was given to him by his mother Pattie, and although he has made millions over the past few years he wasn't granted access to it because of his age.

Now, he has been handed more power and told Fabulous magazine that while he enjoys splashing out on "dirtbikes and motorcycles" he isn't actually all that frivolous with his hard-earned cash:

"Everything's changed (since I turned 18). I don't have an allowance any more which is good. I don't have access to all my money but I have a bank account so I can get money out."

Bieber is currently in New York City and revealed details of an exciting secret show via social networking site Twitter that will take place later this evening (June 18):

"We can announce....the secret show in NYC is at the famous APOLLO THEATRE in Harlem. where MJ once played with the Jackson 5!!"
