Justin Bieber on course to score first UK No.1 album

Justin Bieber looks set to land his first ever UK No.1 album this coming weekend.

The teen star is currently sitting at the top of the albums chart in the midweek update - released today (June 20) - with his record 'Believe'.

However, the Official Charts Company say that his album is only 3,000 copies ahead of nearest rival and fellow new entry 'A Million Lights' from Girls Aloud's Cheryl.

Elsewhere in the midweek chart, Paloma Faith's 'Fall To Grace' rises two places to No.3 whilst Scottish star Amy Macdonald follows closely at No.4.

Carrie Underwood is the week's third highest new entry at No.10 with 'Blown Away', whilst Adele's once immortal '21' drops four more places to No.16.
