Justin Bieber: 'I'm not ready to be a father'

Teen sensation Justin Bieber has opened up about his hopes for the future in a new telling interview with Oprah Winfrey and admitted that despite being mature for his age, he isn't ready for kids just yet.

The 'Baby' hitmaker, who had paternity drama last year when a girl named Mariah Yeater claimed to be pregnant with his child, explained that although he's currently the age his mother was when she had him it seems strange because he couldn't cope with a family:

"I couldn’t imagine having a baby right now. It’d be crazy. I’m not ready for that."

When asked if he's tempted to settle down at a young age, Bieber revealed: "We’ll see when I get there. I’m not there yet."

The star also spoke about Selena Gomez and said that his fame can be troublesome, but he ensures that she's always by his side rather than travelling separately: "Sometimes we gotta take the back exits, but I never make her separate from me. I don’t want her to feel like I'm ashamed of her."
