Justin Bieber has revealed that he has heard some new material by Justin Timberlake.

The former 'N Sync man excited fans all across the world on Thursday (January 10) by suggesting that he will release new music.

The singer last released a solo single back in 2007 as he turned his attention to acting, starring in films such as The Social Network.

Justin Bieber took to Twitter after the announcement to reveal that he has heard some new Timberlake material, which has been worked on by producer Timbaland. He said:

"@jtimberlake @Timbaland i have heard some stuff. u got a good reason to be ready. #greatmusic."
