Justin Bieber has thanked Lady Gaga after she praised him on Twitter.

As previously reported, the 'Born This Way' star recently took to the social networking website to pay tribute to the 'Believe' man after he also broke the 33 million follower mark on the site.

It had also been the sixth anniversary of his YouTube channel and Gaga, who said that her fans also "support" Bieber, tweeted words of encouragement to the Canadian star. She said:

"So proud of @justinbieber and all the Beliebers! I'm only happy to see your fans growing in size, you all deserve it! Monsters support you!"

The 'Boyfriend' star later took to his own Twitter account to give thanks to Gaga for her message, tweeting:

"Thank u for the kind words."
