Justin Bieber has been "pinching himself" after meeting Michael Jordan.

The Canadian met up with the basketball legend last night (January 22) at his gig in Charlotte.

He took to Twitter to reveal his unbridled joy at the encounter, admitting that he is "grateful for every day" of his life. Bieber said:

"I would like to repeat. I met MICHAEL JORDAN tonight! still the kid from stratford. still pinching myself and grateful for every day. It all comes from him. #BLESSED."

He added: "One more time.. Michael Jordan. that happened."

Bieber later added that he is set to reveal all on his forthcoming album 'Believe Acoustic', tweeting:

"Now #6DAYS until i answer all the questions - #BELIEVEacoustic - #COUNTDOWN - #6DAYS."
