Justin Bieber has surprised fans by uploading a new unfinished song online.

The music star posted the track 'You Want Me' last night (February 10) on Soundcloud, with Bieber claiming it is "part" of a song.

He said: "It's not finished but heres a little part a song I'm working on."

The song's release comes soon after the singer released a collection of stripped-back tracks in the form of 'Believe Acoustic'.

Some Twitter users, however, believe Bieber uploaded the track last night to deter attention away from the Grammy Awards.

The singer wasn't nominated for any gongs at this year's ceremony and his manager Scooter Braun had previously hit out at their team for snubbing his client. Listen to Bieber's new track below:
