Justin Bieber "getting better" after on-stage health scare

Justin Bieber has issued an update after reportedly collapsing backstage midway through a gig last night (March 7).

The Canadian singer was performing a show at London's O2 Arena when the incident happened, with manager Scooter Braun telling fans that he was having breathing problems after the star was rushed backstage to take some time out.

Whilst he later returned to the stage, the singer is said to have visited hospital after the end of the concert.

Taking to Twitter to update his worried fans, Bieber said that he is "getting better", but admitted that doctors are looking into what happened. He said:

"Getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love."

The 'Boyfriend' star later uploaded to Instagram a photo of himself on a hospital bed along with the caption: "Gettin better listening to Janice Joplin."

It's the latest problem to surround his series of shows at the O2 Arena, with the superstar previously hitting the headlines after coming out on stage late - much to his fans' disappointment. Watch Scooter Braun speak to fans about Bieber's health below:
