Justin Bieber suffered some cuts after falling down a set of stairs.

The singer revealed the news with a smile on social networking websites Instagram and Twitter, ruing the fact that he had a photoshoot the same day.

The Canadian posted a video of himself showing off his scars, with the heartthrob saying:

"So I decided I was gonna fall down the stairs...so I did! That's exactly what I did."

The post came with the caption: "#whyigottafallandcutmyneckbeforeaphotoshootfun."

He added on Twitter: "If u didn't hear I fell down the stairs this morning. Check my Instagram for details. It was epic :) lol."
