Justin Bieber will 'express himself directly' on new album according to Scooter Braun

Scooter Braun, the manager of Canadian superstar Justin Bieber, has revealed that the hitmaker's upcoming new album will be 'different' from what fans might be expecting.

Speaking to MTV News recently, Braun explained that the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker was forced to 'think outside of the box' creatively this time around as he has a lot of material and a lot of things he wants to express:

"For this project, we want to do things a little bit differently. And there are more songs than 10 or 12, so if you have more music and you have more things you want to express, you gotta think out the box, and [think like] 'How do I get this out there in a unique way where it gets directly to my fans and I can express myself through music directly to them?' And I think that's what it's about when you have people who are incredibly creative, things happen."

Braun added that Bieber wants to address a lot of issues on his new record and has made sure the songs allow him to 'speak for himself':

"You know he wants to show growth, but he wants to speak for himself. These are very creative people and you can't put them in a box and there's nothing against the normal way of doing things. We will do that again." Watch footage from Bieber's 'The Key' fragrance commercial shoot below:
