Justin Bieber's Believe film to be shown in the UK

Justin Bieber's latest film will get a UK release, it has been confirmed.

The Canadian singer is due to unleash his new movie Believe on Christmas Day, but it was originally unclear as to whether it would be shown across the globe.

After a campaign from fans, it has now been announced that Vue will exclusively screen the film for one week only in the UK after Christmas.

It will open from Boxing Day (December 26) as fans get the chance to lap up their idol's latest visual output.

Vue Entertainment CEO Tim Richards commented: "We were overwhelmed with the sheer number of Justin Bieber fans up and down the country wanting to see the film, and so we are thrilled to be able to satisfy the demand as the only cinema in the country to show 'Believe'. It also goes to show how powerful social media can really be not to mention the power of the Beliebers."

The documentary film Believe follows on from Bieber's 2011 movie Never Say Never.

That flick, which gave an insight into the lead-up a Madison Square Garden gig, grossed a total of $29,514,054 (£18,046,236) in its first weekend. Watch Justin Bieber's Believe trailer below:
