Justin Bieber offers studio visit in return for Philippines typhoon donations

Justin Bieber is giving one fan the chance to hang out with him in a recording studio.

The only way the public can put their name into the hat, however, is by donating money to the Philippines typhoon relief fund.

The country was recently ravaged by Typhoon Haiyan, which claimed over 5,500 lives and left many homeless.

Bieber has now launched a campaign to encourage his fans to donate to the cause by offering the chance of winning studio time with the singer.

He wants the one lucky fan to hang out with him and give him musical ideas as he works in the studio.

In a video to launch the project, Bieber said: "Everyone knows I've got the best fans in the world, so the moment I heard about the tragedy a few weeks back, I knew I could count on you guys to make a difference."

There will also be other rewards for those who donate certain amounts of money. 

The charities which will benefit from the project are UNICEF, Action Against Hunger and Philam Foundation. Watch Justin Bieber launch the project below:
