Justin Timberlake was forced into cancelling a New York show last night (February 19) because of 'health reasons'.

The singer was due to perform at the city's iconic Madison Square Garden venue on Wednesday, but he confirmed on Twitter that it had been moved to Friday (February 20).

Timberlake wrote: "Hey NY. There is never an easy way to do this...Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight's show to Friday due to health reasons. I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this. I hope to see you all on Friday."

The singer's date tonight (February 20) at the same venue is still set to go ahead.

Timberlake still has a lengthy run of concerts to undergo, with his schedule due to run until August.
