Justin Timberlake headed for first UK No.1 single since 'SexyBack'

Today's midweek singles chart update has proven exciting for superstar Justin Timberlake as his comeback song, 'Suit & Tie', has climbed 3 places to No.1.

If he holds on to the top spot until the positions are confirmed this coming Sunday (March 3), it will be his second UK No.1 single as 'SexyBack' achieved the feat back in 2006.

Meanwhile, London quartet Bastille have debuted at no.2 with their single 'Pompeii', which is only 2,000 copies behind Timberlake at this midway point. Paramore's 'Now' has made an appearance at No.23, Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' has climbed 1 place to No.5, and Wiley's new single 'Reload' is a new entry at 7.

Adele's 'Skyfall' has risen 11 places to No.14 following her performance of the track and subsequent win at the 2013 Oscars last weekend, Swedish House Mafia's anthem 'Don't You Worry Child' has climbed 5 spots to 32, and Rita Ora's 'Radioactive' has dropped 11 to 33.
