Ricky Wilson: 'I'll miss having Kylie Minogue around on 'The Voice''

Kaiser Chiefs hitmaker Ricky Wilson has revealed that he has grown fond of pop icon Kylie Minogue while they've been working together on 'The Voice' and he's sad to see her go.

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, he confessed that if he gets the opportunity to do another series of the popular vocal talent show he will miss having Minogue around: "Kylie, Tom Jones and will.i.am were a huge part of the experience. If I do it again I will definitely miss her."

"I haven't been asked yet, for a start. People keep telling me rumours of who might join the panel and I'm not sure there'd be a space for me. It would definitely depend on the coaches. I'm due to have lunch with The Voice bosses at some point."

Minogue confirmed her departure from the show earlier this month and told her Twitter followers that she needs to focus all of her energy on her new music and upcoming tour, so had to leave the programme behind: "#Lovers, due to timing of my tour I won’t be back next season for The Voice UK. Thanks to all who supported! Hope to see you on my KMO tour!"

Wilson's band, Kaiser Chiefs, recently announced two live dates that will take place early next year and they are set to perform at London's O2 Arena on February 13 before hitting the Leeds First Direct Arena a day later. Tickets for both shows will go on sale on April 25
