Ricky Wilson on receiving gay attention: 'Men ask me if I fancy a bum'

Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson has opened up on the sexual attention he receives from men.

The Brit told Attitude magazine that the messages he receives from fans on social networking websites are markedly different when it comes to females and males.

He said: "I don’t think it’s more attention [from men]. It’s not like I’m in a bar getting lots of guys approach me or anything like that.

"It’s basically when you read comments on Twitter, girls will say ‘you’re a bit of alright’ or ‘you’re lush’, whereas men will say ‘fancy a bum?'. I admire it really – it’s to the point, it leaves no-one in a grey area."

Wilson was speaking after landing at No.14 on Attitude's Hot 100 list.

The rundown was ultimately won by diver Tom Daley, with the likes of David Beckham and Shayne Ward also placed highly.
