Kanye West fans camp outside stores for Yeezy trainers 9 days ahead

Shoppers are already queuing up outside shops in Los Angeles to buy Yeezy Adidas trainers even though they don't hit the shelves until March 18th, in 9 days' time.

Two locations in L.A. have seen lines forming outside as the devoted prepare to camp it out.

However, even if they make it until March 18th, the shipment will possibly only contain a little as only 60 pairs of trainers of different sizes.

Both stores' orders will be confirmed this weekend and the store manager will then give out a wristband to the first 60 people (if the allowance is 60) that will allow them to buy a pair of the $350 (£246) trainers on March 18.

Those with wristbands are then expected to come back to the store 3 times a day to check in at midday, 4pm and again at 8pm. They will have to show proof of identification at each visit. If they fail to attend one of these visits, they will forfeit their opportunity to buy a pair of sneakers.

Yesterday, Kanye West tweeted that Adidas will make a million Yeezy trainers and will open up factories to produce more (see below).
