Kanye West officially joined Instagram last night (September 17).

His first upload was of a space-age style car being driven alongside a building with slanted walls.

Last March, he contemplated joining Instagram, tweeting that he’d only do so under one condition:

“No one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram. It’s my art."

West has already amassed 540,000 Instagram followers. He is following no-one.
