Kanye West stopped a concert mid-show after his wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

The reality TV star was left uninjured but "badly shaken" after at least two people dressed as police officers entered her residence at 3am local time on Monday (October 3).

Police confirmed that several millions of euros' worth of jewellery was stolen.

Husband Kanye West was performing in New York at the time and was told about the robbery on stage.

He abruptly apologised to the crowd and left the stage citing a "family emergency".

Kardashian was in Paris for the city's fashion week.

Police have now started guarding the luxury property. It is unclear if her children North and Saint were in the residence at the time.
