Kanye West: People treat me "like I'm Hitler"

Kanye West took time out from his performance at the weekend's The Big Chill festival to talk to the audience, and spoke about being misunderstood, the death of his mother and claims that he is misogynistic.

The 'Heartless' rapper also admitted that he often feels as though he's treated like Hitler and that the media makes him out to be a monster. He said:

"Sorry I lost my voice earlier. I'm sorry that we started a little bit late. Trying to get the show right so I can give you the best show possible. Trying to get everything perfect, but y'all know I'm a perfectionist."

"The media tries to spin it in such a way like I'm a monster..."

"This isn't about money, this is about inspiration - this is about dreams. There is so much bullshit going on in the music industry right now. Someone needs to make a difference."

"Once again I wake up and I'm a monster and I walk through the hotel - I walk down the street - and people look at me like I'm fucking insane, like I'm Hitler."
