Kanye West bags UK No.1 album

Kanye West has secured his second UK No.1 album.

The US rapper saw his latest release 'Yeezus' hit the top spot today (June 23) on the UK chart - his first No.1 in the country since 2007's 'Graduation'.

The effort is his first full solo album since 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy', which was released in 2010.

Last week's No.1 - Black Sabbath's '13' - meanwhile drops to No.2 on the chart.

This means that Irish group Kodaline land at No.3 with their debut effort 'In A Perfect World', despite One Direction singer Niall Horan rallying his fans to buy the record.

Elsewhere in this week's albums chart, Rod Stewart's 'Time' lands at No.4 whilst Sigur Ros' new effort 'Kveikur' is in at No.9.
